LTP Integrates with Komainu Connect to Advance Institutional Digital Asset Collateral Solutions
Hong Kong, 1 October 2025 – LTP, the leading global prime broker for institutional digital asset trading, today announced its integration with Komainu Connect, the collateral management platform operated by Komainu, a regulated digital asset services provider backed by Laser Digital and Blockstream.
The collaboration allows LTP’s institutional clients to deploy digital assets as collateral while maintaining them in secure, regulated custody. By joining Komainu Connect, LTP strengthens its prime brokerage offering and delivers improved capital efficiency, reduced counterparty risk, and expanded liquidity access across both traditional and digital markets.
Launched in April 2023, Komainu Connect enables institutions to keep collateral with a custodian rather than with trading or liquidity providers, mitigating settlement and credit risks. With this integration, LTP clients can benefit from streamlined collateral workflows that align with regulatory standards, while unlocking additional trading capacity.
Jack Yang, Founder and CEO at LTP, commented:
“At LTP, we are building the clearing layer for institutional digital asset markets, where client assets remain safe and segregated while collateral can be deployed with maximum efficiency. Partnering with Komainu strengthens this framework, enabling us to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable workflows that protect clients and enhance the prime brokerage experience.”
Paul Frost Smith, Co-CEO at Komainu, said:
“LTP is a significant and strategic addition to our expanding collateral management network, representing another step forward in delivering much-needed, bank-grade infrastructure to the digital asset marketplace. As we expand the range of venues our clients can access, whilst holding their assets in secure custody, the ability to leverage those assets, as well as cross-margin across portfolios of crypto and Trad-Fi assets, is increasingly important.”
This collaboration reinforces LTP’s position as a bridge between traditional and digital finance, delivering a clearing layer that supports multiple asset classes and provides institutions with secure, efficient access to innovative trading infrastructure under the highest standards of custody and compliance.
(Note: Komainu Connect services are available through Komainu (Jersey) Limited.)
