Our position
Liquidity Fintech FZE takes a Zero-Tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
We conduct all of our business honestly and ethically. Our Board and all of our Staff are required to act professionally, fairly and with integrity in every business dealing and relationship, and to comply with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations in every jurisdiction in which we operate.
What this means in practice
LTP, its Board and its Staff are prohibited from:
- giving, promising or offering any payment, gift or hospitality to a third party in the expectation or hope of obtaining a business advantage, or to reward one already given;
- giving, promising or offering any payment, gift or hospitality to facilitate or expedite a routine procedure — commonly known as a facilitation payment;
- accepting any payment, gift or hospitality from a third party where we know or suspect it is offered in the expectation that a business advantage will be provided in return;
- threatening or retaliating against anyone who refuses to commit a bribery offence or who raises a concern; and
- engaging in any activity that might lead to a breach of these standards.
We make no payment to any third party where there is reason to believe that any part of it will fund a bribe or facilitate corruption. All payments we make for services must be appropriate and justifiable for legitimate services actually provided.
Normal and appropriate business hospitality is permitted, within the limits of our Gifts and Hospitality Policy.
Our framework
| Policy | LTP maintains an Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy approved by the Board. Read our public Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy Statement (PDF) |
|---|---|
| Accountability | The Board holds overall responsibility for the Policy. The Compliance Officer holds day-to-day responsibility for its implementation and monitors its effectiveness on a regular basis. |
| Training | All Board members and Staff receive anti-bribery and corruption training at induction and on a regular basis thereafter. |
| Consequences | Failure to comply results in severe consequences, including disciplinary action and termination of employment without notice. |
| Regulatory reporting | LTP reports any finding of unlawful conduct in breach of these standards to VARA. |
Communicating this at the outset
